Transition into Sixth Form 2025
The below information is designed to give you an overview of what to expect when you begin Year 12 at Putney High School.
Start of term, Wednesday 3 September, 9.00am
Term begins with an informal breakfast with other new joiners and their buddies. You will then have a chance to meet your form group and form tutor before taking part in a fun team building event with the whole year group. Lunch on the first day will be provided and in the afternoon you will have an official welcome from the Director of Sixth Form and our Head Student Team in the Sixth Form Diner. Following this, you will be given you timetable for the year ahead, begin your Sixth Form induction, have a chance to meet members of staff and get to know the Sixth Form Centre.
School will start at normal time on Thursday 4 September at 8.30am.
